AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 9 OF
THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, REGULATING THE ACTIVITIES
OF TRANSIENT DEALERS WITHIN THE TOWN
WHEREAS, on July 8, 1980, the Town Council of the
Town of Avon, Colorado (the "Town"), adopted Ordinance No. 9
regulating the activities of transient dealers within the
Town; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has granted certain franchises
within the Town and established regulations and obligations
concerning the exercise of the rights and privileges of said
franchises within the Town; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council deems it to be in the best
interests of the Town and its residents to amend Section 3 as
set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED as follows:
1. Ordinance No. 9 is hereby amended by the addition
of the following sentence to the end of Section 3:
The provisions of this Ordinance shall not
apply to any person, officer, employee, agent
or contractor representing the franchisee
of any duly granted and validly existing
franchise of the Town.
2. All other provisions of Ordinance No. 9 not
modified herein shall remain in full force and effect.
INTRODUCED, PASSED ON FIRST READING, APPROVED AND
ORDERED POSTED, THIS 9th day of October , 1984,and a
public hearing on this Ordinance shall-be held at the regular
meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Avon, Colorado, on
the 23rd day of October, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal
Building of the Town of Avon, Colorado.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF A PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, AT 7:30 P.M. ON THE 23rd DAY OF
OCTOBER, 1984, AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 400 BENCHMARK ROAD, AVON,
COLORADO FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE
NO.84-12, SERIES OF 1984:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 9 OF THE TOWN
OF AVON, COLORADO, REGULATING THE ACTIVITIES OF TRANSIENT DEALERS
WITHIN THE TOWN
A copy of said Ordinance is attached hereto and is also on file
at the office of the Town Clerk and may be inspected during regular
business hours.
Following this hearing the Council may consider final passage of
this Ordinance.
This notice given and passed by order of the Town Council of the
Town of Avon, Colorado.
