AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE TOWN OF
AVON; AND ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY RECENTLY ANNEXED THERETO.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 81-38, Series of
1981, the Town of Avon has annexed to the Town the two parcels
of real property described in Exhibit A hereto as "Parcel 1"
and "Parcel 2"; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Avon has, pursuant to Ordinance
No. 79-12, Series of 1979, esta blished'a set of Zoning Dis-
tricts and adopted a Zoning Map reflecting such Zoning Dis-
tricts; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Avon desires to designate a
Zoning District applicable to each of Parcel 1 and Parcel 2
and to amend the Zoning Map to reflect such designation; and
WHEREAS-, as-provided by Ordinance No. 79-12, the -
Design Review Board of the Town of Avon has held a hearing
concerning the proposed zoning of such parcels, and has recom-
mended that Parcel 1 be zoned SPG (Special, Public Facility,
Government) and that Parcel 2 be zoned SPA (Specially Planned
Area) ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, THAT:
1. Classification of Parcel 1. The real property
located in the Town of Avon, more particularly described as
"Parcel l" on Exhibit A hereto, is hereby classified as SPG
(Special, Public Facility, Governmental), as provided in Ordi-
nance No. 79-12 of the Town of Avon. The Zoning Map of the
Town of Avon is hereby amended by designating Parcel 1 as SPG,
as shown on the map-attached hereto as Exhibit B.
2. Classification of Parcel 2. The real property
located in the Town of Avon, more particularly described as
"Parcel 2" on Exhibit A hereto, is hereby classified as SPA
(Specially Planned Area), as provided in Ordinance No. 79-12
of the Town of Avon. The Zoning Map of the Town of Avon is
hereby amended by designating Parcel 2 as SPA, as shown on the
map attached hereto as Exhibit B.
3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect
in accordance with the Charter of the Town of Avon, and the
Town Clerk is directed to amend the Zoning Map of the Town as
provided herein.
INTRODUCED, PASSED, READ ON FIRST READING, APPROVED,
AND ORDERED PUBLISHED ONCE IN FULL, this 12th.day of January,
1982, and a public hearing on this ordinance shall be held at
the regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Avon,
Colorado, on the L dap', of 1982, at 7:30 p.m. in
the Municipal Offices of the Town.

THE TOWN-OF AVON,, COLORADO, AT '7:30 P-M. ON THE 9TH 'DAY OF FEBRUARY,
1982 AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 400,BENCHMARK'ROAD, AVON,,COLORADO FOR
THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE N0.#82-2, SERIES
OF 1982:
AN_ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE TOWN OF AVON; AND ZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY RECENTLY ANNEXED THERETO.
A.copy of said Ordinance is attached hereto and is also on file at the
office of the Town Clerk and may be inspected during regular business
hours..
Following this hearing, the Council may consider final passage of the
Ordinance.
This notice given and passed by order of the Town Council of the Town
of Avon, Colorado.
