This letter is a request for approval to complete Additional Services associated with
-'zdl ('".N the East Town Center District Plan. Based on feedback from Planning Commission
and Town Council, we believe the following will be required to revise the District Plan
document:
1. Imagery Revisions:
a. The plan illustrative will be revised to show the buildings broken up into
smaller individual buildings and the style will be modified to provide
more of a "hand-drawn" look.
b. The Sketchup model will be revised to show the building massing
broken up into smaller individual buildings and the style of the graphic
will be modified.
c. A cross section will be created to describe building heights.
d. Two _artistic perspective renderings will be created to exhibit
characteristics desirable in the district.
e. The diagrams will be modified with the revised plan illustrative used as
the background and be made to look more "hand-drawn."
f. The three roadway cross sections will be revised with a softer style. One
of the cross sections will be enhanced to show the residential nature of
the proposed street.
g. The modified and new drawings will be placed in the District Plan
document with new captions written where appropriate.
DESIGNWORKSHOP
Deliverables:
1. Draft District Plan Document
2. Final District Plan Document
We anticipate receipt of agreement by the last week of October 2007, and anticipate
completion by the end of December 2007 allowing two months for completion.
We will provide all of the services described in this proposal on an hourly basis for
the time worked on your behalf. Hourly rates are based on our current employee rate
schedule (see attached schedule).
By signing this letter, you are authorizing Design Workshop, Inc. to commence services
immediately for a fee of $8,500. This fee does not include reimbursable expenses
(printing, photography, and travel) which will be billed at cost plus 15% for handling.
The contract conditions of existing Agreement dated December 18, 2006 shall be
binding on these additional services unless modified herein. The following is a
summary of the fees associated with this effort.
Original Contract Amount:
$164,500
Additional Services Amount:
$8,500
New Total Contract Amount:
$173,500
