YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance
Number 12, Series of 1979, that the following matter will be heard
and considered at the meeting of the Design Review Board of the Town
of Avon, on July 1, 1982, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Avon
Municipal Building, 400 Benchmark Road, Avon, Colorado, at which time
and place you are hereby invited to be present.
APPLICANT: Benchmark Condominium Homeowner's
Association.
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:Lot#2, Block#2, Benchmark Subdivision,
Avon, Colorado.
ZONING: This-property is zoned RHLD - Residential
High and Low Density.
REQUESTED CHANGE: The Applicant is seeking permission to
replace the shake shingle roofs on
three of the four buildings in this
project with metal roofs. It is the
applicant's understanding that this is
subject to the Special Review Use
approval of the Design Review Board and
the Town Council. The building farthest
north, which is Building D, already has
a metal roof, which was installed in the
fall of 1981, following a windstrom that
tore the shake shingle roof off that
building. The Applicant wishes to have
the roofs on all four buildings uniform
in materials, color, appearance, life
expectancy and with regard to the ability
to shed snow.
