On-Call Agreement for Professional Services
TASK ORDER 2-2022-01
Public Works Facility Programming and Site Planning
This Task Order pertains to the On-Call Agreement by and between the Town of Avon
(“TOWN”), and GSG Architecture, Inc. (“CONTRACTOR”), dated On-Call Contract Execution
of September 20, 2022 (“the Agreement”).
CONTRACTOR shall perform services as provided herein and in the Agreement. This Task
Order shall not be binding until it has been properly signed by both parties. Upon
execution, this Task Order shall supplement the Agreement as it pertains to the project
described below.
Project Description: Provide Facility Programming and Site Planning for a Public Works
Facility. See Attachment A

Explanation of Fees:
This proposal encompasses the following phases, services and deliverables listed below:
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Existing Site Analysis / Programming
•The GSG Team will meet with Public Works Department Employees and Town administrators to
gather information about the current conditions, growth forecasts and equipment inventories.
•We will review your work protocols and look for ways to increase operational efficiency.
•We will work with you to establish the necessary hierarchies and adjacencies and will provide
diagrammatic documentation of these elements.
•Using this information, we will create an inventory of required spaces and arrive at an optimal
square footage for the facility.
•We will review survey data provided by the Town or another agency.
•Our team will review each site with regards to topography, access, solar orientation and size
(including expansion potential) relative to the requirements of the program study.
•A site plan will address access points, appropriate turn radii for all vehicles, parking areas and
potential for future expansion.
•Massing variations will be provided for analysis. With you, we will design several iterations for
review and consensus. Volume studies will be accomplished in real time with you using Google
Sketchup for quick renderings and massing studies.
•The Scope of Work includes mass and scale studies on two sites including cost estimates.
•Probable development and reconfiguration costs will be examined.
•Our team will prepare a written report detailing the site analysis findings and offering
recommendations for the most efficient configuration capable of supporting a new facility.
•A written opinion of probable cost will be generated based on the report and site plan.
•We will lead a final presentation to the Town administrators, the Public Works Department and
members of the public, (if desired).
Exclusions
•Geotechnical Investigations
•Phase I Environmental Investigations
•Title Search, Financial planning or other activities typically associated with property acquisition
•Topographic site surveys
•Hazardous material investigations reports, and abatement
•Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents phase services (to be
addressed in future task orders)
