Dear Eva:
Zehren and Associates is submitting a Change Order for additional services provided in support of the project
approvals and design revisions requested by the Town of Avon. This change order also includes fees to
perform Construction Administration and Observation services for the project that were not part of the
original scope of work for the project. This Change Order will be reflected in the Professional Service
Agreement for Design of Eaglebend Pocket Park Expansion and Renovation project located in Avon, CO. The
anticipated construction duration is approximately six months, with 2 months of construction during 2024,
and an additional 4 months in 2025. The following scopes of work are proposed to be completed under this
change order:
Additional Services:
Civil
1. 2- hours to update and clarify CDOT specs in the drawings
2. 4-hours to update drawings / details and address peer review comments
3. 2-hours for coordination and meetings
Total of 8 hours = $1720
Landscape Architecture
• 2-hours meetings and coordination with town staff
• 4-hours updating drawings, details, and notes
• 3-hours coordination meetings with consultants and drawing markups
• 2-hours updating cost estimate and bid schedule
• 2-hours reviewing final drawings
• 9-hours coordination and meeting attendance with ERWSD for water line easement.
Total of 13 hours = $3080
Total Additional Service Fees for Civil and Landscape - $4,800

Construction Administration and Observation Services
Landscape Architecture Scope
1. Attend and conduct (1) pre-construction meeting with the owner and selected contractor ($300)
2. Attend a weekly 1hr OAC meeting, make periodic site visits, prepare field reports ($5,250)
3. Review product and materials Submittals for the project ($1,800)
4. Respond to Requests for Information (RFI’s) from the contractor ($2,200)
5. Prepare a Punch List at Substantial Completion of the project ($600)
6. Prepare a Punch List at Final Completion of the Project. ($600)
7. Review shop drawings for prefabricated picnic shelter ($250)
8. Coordination and management of RFI’s / Submittals for all other disciplines. ($1200)
9. Coordination with general contractor. ($800)
Landscape Architecture fee - $13,000
Civil Scope
1. Review Civil related product and materials Submittals for the project.
2. Attend two site visits and produce a field report for each site visit.
3. Respond to Civil related Requests for Information (RFI’s) and contractor questions.
Civil Fee - $2,025
Structural Scope
1. Attend one site visit and prepare one field report.
Structural Fee - $390
Architectural Scope
1. Review product and materials Submittals for porta-potty enclosure.
2. Respond to Architecture related Requests for Information (RFI’s) and contractor questions.
3. Attend one punch walk site visit and identify items that will be included on the Final Completion
punch list.
Architectural Fee - $600
Irrigation Scope
1. Participate in a pre-construction conference call to answer contractor questions.
2. Review product and materials Submittals for irrigation equipment.
3. Respond to Irrigation related Requests for Information (RFI’s) and contractor questions.
4. Attend one punch walk site visit and identify items that will be included on the Final Completion
punch list.
Irrigation Fee - $2,400
