Pursuant to Section 31-16-203, Colorado Revised Statutes
The Town Council of the Town of Avon, Colorado, hereby gives notice that a public hearing
shall be held on February 25, 2025 during a Regular Town Council Meeting at the hour of 5:00
pm, or as soon thereafter as may be heard on that day, at the Council Chambers of the Avon
Town Hall, 100 Mikaela Way, Avon, CO, 81620, concerning the Town’s adoption by reference,
and amendments of same, of the 2024 Model Traffic Code (“MTC”) under Ordinance 25-01.
The "Model Traffic Code" 2024 edition is published by the Colorado Department of
Transportation, Traffic Engineering and Safety Branch, 2829 West Howard Place, Denver, CO
80204. The subject matter of the Model Traffic Code relates primarily to comprehensive traffic
control regulations for the Town. The purpose of the Ordinance and the Code adopted therein is to
provide a system of traffic regulations consistent with state law and generally conforming to
similar regulations throughout the state and the nation.
Copy of the 2024 Model Traffic Code in this Notice are on file and available for public inspection
during regular business hours at the office of the Town of Avon Town Clerk’s Office, Avon Town
Hall, 1st Floor, 100 Mikaela Way, Avon, CO, 81620.
