The following changes are hereby made to the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS :
Line item #22: Additional 25 linear feet of curb & gutter for an additional cost of $1,375.00.
Line Item #18: Additional sawcut of 25 LF of asphalt paving to construct the additional
cub & gutter near the existing trailhead parking lot for an additional cost of $125.00.
We need to over-excavate and store in place approximately 230 cubic yards of
unsatisfactory soils for an additional cost of $76.00 per CY. ($17,480.00)
We need to import approximately 246 cubic yards of structural fill material to replace over-
excavated unsatisfactory soils for an additional cost of $47.00 per CY. ($16,215.00)
Justification:
Poor existing soil conditions beneath the proposed curb & gutter warranted over-excavation and
replacement with structural fill material. Furthermore, additional curb & gutter was warranted near
the trailhead parking lot to mitigate existing erosion issues.
Change to CONTRACT PRICE: $35,195.00
Original CONTRACT PRICE: $616,810.57
Current CONTRACT PRICE adjusted by previous CHANGE ORDERS $616,810.57.
The CONTRACT PRICE due to this CHANGE ORDER will be increased by $35,195.00.
The new CONTRACT PRICE including this CHANGE ORDER will be $652,005.57.
Change to CONTRACT TIME:
The CONTRACT TIME will be increased by __zero__ calendar days.
