PZC Minutes 063083..� RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS MINUTES OF THE P & Z COMMISSION MEETING JUNE 30, 1983, 7:30 P. 14. The regular meeting of the Avon Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order on June 30, 1983, at 7:44 P. M., in the Council Chambers of the Town of Avon Municipal Complex, 400 Benchmark Road, Avon, Colorado, by Chairman Bill Pierce. Members Presenter Tommy Landauer, Mike Blair, Clint Watkins, Bill Pierce. Staff Present: Dick Kvac'i/Planning Director, Renee' Flader./ Recording Secretary. Item No. 1. Reading and Approval of P & Z Minutes of Tune 16 1983 Meeting; Clint Watkins moved to approve the minutes of June 16, 1983 meeting. Notion was seconded by Tommy Landauer and was passed unanimously. Item No 2 Benchmark C�Paners. Lot 23. Block 1LchmayJl Sub- division, Varianc Dick Kvach introduced the request of the applicant, Greg Miller, representing Benchmark Cleaners. Dick explained that the applicant is requesting to put an above ground propane tank temporarily at 0810 Nottingham Road and it would be located on the north side of the existing building, Wolfe Warehouse. Dick recommended approval of this request subject to: (1) That the tank location and type comply with all Fire Depart- ment regulations; (2) That the tank be screened from the view of passing motorists and adjourning property owners by either a screened fence or plantings of an evergreen variety; and (3) That the tank be removed within 30 days after natural gas is available to the building. The applicant was unavailable for the Commission's questions or discussion. After short discussion Clint Watkins moved to table this request until the next meeting requesting that the applicant come back with alternate locations and proof from the owner that the appli- cant has permission to place the propane tank at the particular location on the owner's property. Motion was seconded by Tommy Landauer and was passed unanimously. item No. 3,�Aj*ina and Loading Reauirements: Discussion was continued of the Parking and Loading Requirements starting with page 14, paragraph 2, Specific Requirements. Several modifications were made to the required parking section. Discussion on the Off -Street Loading Requirements will continue at the next regular meeting. y With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 9:41 P. 61.
