The sign will be used to advertise the Wildwood Development to be located on Lots 5, 52A, and 529, Block 1, Benchmark Subdivision. The sign will consist of various width rough -sawn cedar boards which will frame s beige colored sign painted on marine plywood. Letters will be a tan color. The sign will be located on either the east or west side of the proposed intersection of Swift Gulch Road and Nottingham Road. The sign contains 29 square feet of sign surface. Section 15.28.040.H.1. of the Avon Code restricts the sign surface area to no more than 16 square feet. Approval of this sign design and location is recommended subject to the following conditions: 1. That the sign surface area be proporationally reduced down to 16 square feet. 2. That prior to the actual installation of the sign, the final site be approved by the Town Engineer to assure that site distances are not obstructed. This playground will be used in conjunction with the day care center in Avon Center. The fence surrounding the playground will be a 2 rail split -rail fence like that used along the Avon Road right -o,° -way. Approval of this request is recommended.
